PRESS RELEASE

Gannon Homes inspires young artists with an art competition held in the local schools beside their new development Meadowbank, Swords.

The art competition was organised in Swords Educate Together and Gaelscoil Bhrian Boroimhe both located on the Glen Ellan Road and are situated directly opposite Gannon Homes’ new development called Meadowbank.

Commenting on the competition Shane Daly, Commercial Director, Gannon Homes “The idea behind the art completion was to help us to say thanks to our neighbours. Many of the families in our Millers Glen development have children in both of the schools. The theme of the competition was left open to the pupils but they embraced the idea by showing off the new homes with families and the Gannon “Teddy” to the fore.

Both schools ran competitions for both junior and senior students. There was great excitement at the prize giving with each winner receiving a prize.

Apart from individual prizes the winners will also have their award winning paintings hung in the fabulous new show houses in Meadowbank.

Meadowbank is a new development of two, three and four bed family homes by Gannon Homes. Situated beside their award winning Millers Glen development Gannon Homes has delivered a superb show village comprising three show units to visit. With interior design by Phoenix Design these homes are genuinely worth a view.

Generously proportioned internal layouts with island units in most of three and four bedroom houses. What is a really appealing feature for families is the extra living space off the kitchen area which can be used as a play area for younger children or indeed used as a TV room.

All homes in Meadowbank are concrete built and deliver cobble lock fronts to facilitate car parking for two cars. Of most importance is that all these energy efficient homes carry a BER A3 rating and are most economical to heat.

You will have to visit to see the winning artist’s pieces hanging in the show houses and of course to see the wonderful Gannon built homes.
